The Suffolk Hotel and Sur Mer Restaurant

A listed Georgian property, in the heart of Aldeburgh was completely renovated.  What was once a tired office building, has now become a sympathetically restored town house, housing one of Suffolk’s best restaurants and hotel destinations.  Cleverly converted by local architect Charles Curry-Hyde into 6 en-suite bedrooms,  an accessible lift, a large restaurant, bar with lounge, stunning roof terrace with sea views and private dining room.  Drawing from the local beauty spots, the designs for the rooms were inspired by places in and around Aldeburgh and have adopted the place names.
