Bespoke Design

A pair of bespoke glass and brass inlay cabinets

These bespoke cabinets were designed to house a capsule office, containing a printer and filing system, with storage for stationery, silverware and a pop-up TV. The outer shell was based on an art deco tall cabinet constructed of painted glass with brass inlay. The inside was built using Macassar Ebony and walnut, and lined with fuchsia pig suede.

Bespoke Coffee Table

This large coffee table was designed so the it could be used as a foot rest or seating as well as being a table. The outer edge was upholstered in a luxurious silk fabric by Zimmer Rhode, and the inner edge was a vinyl shagreen selected to protect against spills. Two contrasting woods were used for the base, which has cross style legs.

Concealed TV Cabinet

The client wanted to occasionally be able to watch TV in their formal drawing room without the need to have a TV constantly on display. They also had a large painting which was the focal point of the room. I designed a cabinet that was incorporated into the original architectural detailing and decorated with the same wallpaper as the walls and dado to created a housing for a TV that was discreet as possible.
